The Prime Minister has put green jobs and his ten environmental pledges at the heart of his Build Back Better agenda to help the economy recover from COVID-19. This, coupled with the government’s flagship next zero targets, has pushed sustainability, climate change, and low carbon transport to the top of the political agenda.

Against this backdrop, and as we count down to COP26 in Glasgow, Midlands Connect hosted a climate change conference on Wednesday 16th June bringing together industry leaders, decision-makers, and key stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities ahead in the Midlands, the UK, and globally.
