Our CEO comments on the launch of Government's Integrated National Transport Strategy

Maria Machancoses, Chief Executive of Midlands Connect, commented on today's launch of the Integrated National Transport Strategy:

"For the first time, we are prioritising the bigger picture of transport and recognising the benefits of a joined up approach, with the people and places at the heart of it.
"An effective integrated transport system will reach far beyond its immediate uses, with multiplier effects across education, health and economic growth among others. 

"At Midlands Connect, we welcome the opportunity to work with Government, our Mayors, local leaders and partners to help shape this nationally significant strategy - allowing us to press a reset button and clearly set a collective vision and approach to the way we plan for, design and deliver transport."
